Welcome to Wergeland Lodge!
Wergeland Lodge 2-021 is the Sons of Norway Lodge in Bellingham WA.
We are dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Norwegian heritage and culture.
The Sons of Norway is an international organization where members come together in celebration of Norwegian heritage, culture
and our relationship with the other Nordic Countries.

Our meetings are now at
St. John’s Lutheran Church
2530 Cornwall Ave, Bellingham, WA 98225.
Entry for meetings will be from the alley.
For the potlucks, entry into the building will be from the North St. side, down the ramp into the lower level.


7th  Business Meeting:  6:00pm
8th  Potluck/Program.  Potluck: 6:00pm, bring something to share.  Program: 7:00pm (free to all ages),  Viking Era Exploration and Settlement (Norway, Iceland, Newfoundland),
narrative and photos by Roberta Morrow, Co-Cultural Director of Edmonds Lodge, SON, and docent at the Nordic Heritage Museum in Seattle. 
17th  Syttende Mai, Norway's Constitution Day,  Seattle
23rd Ski to Sea Parade,  everyone into the float, wear something Nordic. 


4th  Business Meeting: 6:00pm
12th  Potluck/Program. Potluck: 6:00pm, bring something to share.  Program: 7:00pm (free to all ages),  Nordic Water Trails, narrative and photos, Susan Toch.
14th  VASA Lodge Midsommarfest,  2-6 pm, Mt. Vernon.  2-2:45pm: decorating and raising the Majstang with band playing and dancing outside on the grass,  2:45-4pm:  live Scandinavian music by Skandia Kapell (inside) and potluck dinner (VASA provides the meatballs) 4-5pm, dance and socialize after 5-6pm.  Event is free.  Dancers are invited.  Bring something to share
for the potluck.
